Rent a Nutcracker for Your Miami Christmas Party
A nutcracker in full red-and-gold uniform is the most recognizable Christmas character after Santa himself, and if you're planning a holiday event you can also book Santa for your Miami party and have the two arrive together. We bring nutcracker performers to homes, offices, parades and community events across Miami-Dade and Broward, in three different formats depending on the space and the crowd.
Three ways to book a nutcracker
The right one depends on your venue, your ceiling height and whether the guests are children or adults.
The nutcracker character
A performer in a tailored nutcracker uniform — red coat, gold braid, tall black hat — who works the room at eye level. This is the version that greets guests at the door, poses for photos, leads the kids in a march, and hands out gifts alongside Santa. It's the most versatile of the three and the easiest to fit into a home or a standard-ceiling venue.
Door greeting is where this character earns its keep. Guests arrive, the nutcracker salutes, and the photos start before anyone has taken their coat off. For a party of any size it sets the tone in the first ten seconds.
Two nutcrackers flanking an entrance is a popular request for larger corporate events and for homes that go all out on decorations. If you want a bigger production, our full roster of party characters can be mixed and matched with the holiday lineup.
The nutcracker mascot
A full oversized mascot head and body, the same style you see at theme parks. The proportions are exaggerated and cartoonish, which reads better to young children than the realistic version — smaller kids who are shy around a life-size soldier will usually run straight at the mascot. It's the right pick for toddler parties, school events and anything where the audience skews under six.
The nutcracker on stilts
The same uniform on a performer standing ten feet tall. Nothing else at an event competes with it. This is the version for parades, tree lightings, outdoor community events and hotel lobbies with the ceiling height to carry it — and it's the one guests photograph most.
Stilt work needs level ground and clear overhead space, so it's worth telling us about the venue when you book. If you like the height but want a different look for a non-holiday event, we also have stilt walkers in Miami in a range of costumes year round.
Nutcrackers and Santa together
The most requested holiday booking we do is a nutcracker escorting Santa in. The nutcracker greets and warms up the room, then announces Santa's arrival — which gives the kids a build-up instead of Santa simply walking through a door. The two characters also split the photo line, so a room full of families moves through faster.
Events we bring nutcrackers to
Home Christmas parties and family gatherings. Corporate and office holiday parties. HOA and community events. Tree lightings and city holiday events. Christmas parades. School and daycare celebrations. Hotel and restaurant holiday nights. Noche Buena celebrations on December 24 — where a nutcracker pairs naturally with our Hora Loca entertainment for the adult portion of the night.
Book early — the season is short
Nutcracker dates fill the same way Santa dates do. December weekends go first, and the two weeks before Christmas book out well before December arrives. If your event is on a Saturday in December, reserve it in October or early November.
Call or message us with your date, your venue and which version you want, and we'll confirm availability. Contact Miami Superhero to reserve your nutcracker.
