Holiday Entertainment for Miami Restaurants and Hotels

A GM filling slow December weeknights is not booking a backyard, so start with our Santa bookings and treat the dining room like a seating, not like a house party that happens to serve food.

You want covers. You want photos that look like the hotel. You don’t want a costume blocking the pass. Say restaurant or hotel on the first call. We’ll ask about load-in, insurance, and whether this is a prix-fixe night or a lobby photo line.

What works in a dining room. Santa at a chair in a corner with light. A timed walk of tables if the manager wants it and the servers can still move. A nutcracker at the host stand if the ceiling allows height. If that’s the look, our nutcracker lineup belongs at the door, not between tables with hot plates.

A spinning booth in a foyer can justify a Tuesday that would otherwise die. It needs floor space and two people to carry it. For a holiday mixer or a brand night, a 360 booth for Miami hotels is the add-on. Skip it if the room is 18 two-tops and a piano.

Load-in is receiving. Valet isn’t a loading dock. Certificate naming the hotel or the restaurant group. No fog if the panel is jumpy. No roaming into the bar if this is a family seating. One manager who can say yes — not a hostie with a radio and no authority to move a four-top.

Weeknights in early December are how you test the idea before you sell a Saturday you can’t staff. Don’t put Santa on OpenTable until we confirmed the window. We have watched hotels sell a morning we could not cover. That is on the listing, not on the costume.

Staff meals and character photos should not share a hallway. Give us a hold room. Give us water. Give us a clock. We pack at the posted end so night audit’s not stepping over a sack. Candy on a dessert tray is not entertainment. A performer who can work a lobby for fifty minutes is.

Have the date, seatings or lobby hours, address, guest cap, and the insurance ask. Ask for Sean. Dade (786) 220-5686. Broward (954) 239-7244. Palm Beach (561) 293-3535. Say restaurant or hotel, not a kids’ birthday.
